Barnsley v Millwall 1pm kickoff after advice from SYP

The Reds' first home clash after the resumption of the 2019/20 season will now kick-off earlier than first reported.

The remaining fixtures of the 2019/20 season were revealed on Monday, and there has been an early change to note.

Gerhard Struber's Barnsley side welcome Gary Rowett's Millwall outfit on Saturday 27th June and after mutual agreement between both clubs, the Oakwell fixture is now scheduled for a 1pm start time.

Further details on how Reds supporters can follow coverage of the Lions clash will be published on barnsleyfc.co.uk in due course.

It's to allow pubs chance to organise outdoor fan zones at peak drinking time from 12 Midday to 4pm.

Strong rumours that pubs are to be allowed to serve outdoors from 22 June.Pubs can set up canopies/ outdoor beer garden, set up big screen/ tv's and Millwall fans will pour up from London forra 1pm kick off with plenty of time to get back to London.
