    Accies TV

The Record is reporting that Hamilton will charge a tenner a game for a stream of games at NDP - with no virtual (or actual) season tickets. There's no info yet as to their policy for away fans' viewing.

Their policy re season tickets bizarre. Yes, we will be giving back cash later (in effect) due to the 'in-person' pledges but there's plenty time to plan for that. We have, atm, the majority of our fan base making the same financial commitment as always.

Accies in contrast have an average crowd of about 2,500 and it's safe to say that's boosted by the visits of bigger teams. It doesn't take many of their fans not to bother one week, pair up to share a telly or drift away because they're rubbish and suddenly they're running off very little reliable income. Away fans will certainly share tickets.

At the same time, a tenner a game is surely the most you can reasonably charge for a stream - even CelticTV, which is superb for match production, is currently 150 quid a year. Fans might be mugs but they are not completely limitless in their means or generosity.

    Or have I missed something?

If you can understand Accies' finances you're a better person than I.
