    O/T:- Important information.

If, like me, you despise the BBC, you can do something about the licence fee. There is a government petition system whereby if there are enough petitioners, the BBC licence fee must be debated in parliament. I did it earlier today, and it had 61,000 petitioners.

If you feel you want to, go to petitions in your browser, its petitions 300118.

Let the people in your life know if they think the same.

Is there an opposing petition for those of us who value, trust and enjoy the BBC?

Is there a petition for people who once thought the BBC were pants then moved to another country realised how bad the local TV was and got a sense of perspective based on comparison?

The ABC and SBS are ok...the rest are unadulterated bile and bilge. Quite how tv has descended to this level of trash is beyond me.

Who elected the BBC to tell us how to think?
I'm considering cancelling my licence fee, only just realised that I don't need one to listen to live radio.

As soon as I can cancel my TV license, but still legally watch TV, then I will.

Most of the good stuff on those channels is either from the BBC or available in the UK. The news coverage is moderately better but the reporters are ALL terrible.

Cancelled mine a while back. They have a narrative and they push it. I normally don't mind a news organisation doing it but I will not pay them to do it. Streaming services are enough for me.

You need prosecuting under the TDA. This is not important information at all. Here's some important information for you though - urinate elsewhere.
