Motherwell regain form but no goals at Easter Road

There were no goals when Motherwell and Hibs met at Easter Road but there was great encouragement for the visitors. - External Link

It says a lot about just how bad we've been that we can improve as much as we did today and still have miles to go.

A big step in the right direction but anything less than a win against Accies next week and it's panic time again.

If we had a forward worthy of the name at the club and he was deployed in his correct position (something Robinson is always reluctant to do) then I reckon we'd have won yesterday. A much improved performance and we were by far the better side. Turnbull and Campbell absolutely dominated in midfield.

White will never be Alan Shearer, but he's 'scored' two well - taken non - goals, both of which, on a different day, might have counted. I haven't written him off.

You can't claim he was unlucky with the first one, it was as blatant a push as you'll see. The second was a massive deflection.

I actually think he could play a role in the squad despite my critical comments about him but if he's our starting striker this season we're in big bother.
