    The Big 5 Leagues

England, France, Germany, Italy, Spain. In the Europa and Champions League Final stages it has been an unmitigated disaster for English teams. Pep picked his own pocket as Citeh lost to Lyon and Harry Maguire was simply wrong to assert that the best team lost in Manchester United’s defeat to Sevilla. United failed to put away their chances and were worse than Dracula at defending crosses. The big winners are clearly the French and German Leagues who provide all 4 CL semi finalists. Bayern must be big favourites maybe to meet PSG in the final but we have seen so many twists I am glad I am not a betting person.

I know it's the same for everyone, but this lockdown malarkey has taken the whole "home & away" essence of the competitions out of the equation.

The competitions have been reduced to rubbish for financial expediency IMHO. Me no likey.

Me no likey either, and me no watching. These games are going completely over my head, not sure exactly why, I love my football, but I haven't watched a single game and I've no ambition to watch one either. Something just not right about it, just teams going through the motions for the TV money, it feels like an irrelevance to me.

You may not like what has happened, however, at the end of the competition one team will become the European Champions and the winner of the Europa League will gain entry to the Champions League for next season and will be recorded as being Europa League Champions.
None of us know whether next season will see matches played behind closed doors, therefore, we may well see the same things happeneing again.

Perhaps they should be thinking of returning to the original format when only the League Champions played in the European Cup and they could also return to the straight knock out approach for all the games. Some hopes!

Munich are just a juggernaut that ain’t stopping for anyone , pace all over and work rate phenomenal to get a shape that’s incredibly difficult to break down.

I have to say T muller is and has been a very special footballer , he’s a great advert for a good Pro.

army --I have to agree about Thomas Muller, he is a good player and a great pro. In the last 5 seasons alone, he has featured in as total of 261 matches and scored 89 goals playing either as a striker or up front. He has been playing at the top level since his debut, as a 20 year old, in 2009/10.

Totally different type of players and Muller has had the advantage of playing in a club that have won the Bundesliga 9 times, German Cup 6 times, the European Champions League and the UEFA Super Cup since his debut, which does make a difference to a player.

Well as far as I know Lazio aren't in for Muller, and they know their stuff these Italians.
