Forgive me if I missed this but has the FA Trophy just been sacked off now?
I can't see anything on BBC fixtures list anywhere.
Not actually that bothered if it has. We need to concentrate on a good pre season really.
I think we can safely say they've effed it off then? Possibly cos Harrogate gone up? If it were two NL teams left in the comp then maybe it would have gone ahead? Just speculation like.
I don't even want to look at a Harrogate shirt again if I'm honest, so all good with me.
At the end of July I sent the FA an email asking about their plans for this competition. This is the reply I got:
As it stands, this fixture has been postponed. However please rest assured that we are working with our partners and event owners to determine how best to reschedule any events that are postponed due to COVID-19. We will provide further updates as soon as we receive any confirmation.
Best wishes,

I wouldn't give up just yet, but I'll ask them again in case there is any update.
Couldn't agree more. I'm sure Harrogate, just like us have bigger priorities to concentrate on but it would be incredibly cruel to pull the plug on Halesowen Town and Concord Rangers after they have got within a two leg semi of a Wembley final. Whoever wins their tie would get not only a massive cash boost, but also a once in a lifetime experience. I really hope the competition is concluded after getting down to just four clubs.
If Notts had won the Trophy, they would have received £90,000 prize money - or £45,000 if they'd got to the final and lost - so financially this decision does matter (even more to Halesowen and Concord, as you say Elite).
If they decide to scrap last year's tournament (and it's very complicated now as there are teams from four different levels in the semifinals, starting the season on different dates), I hope they would at least consider dividing the remaining prize money - £130,000 - between the four teams, which would be just over £30,000 per club.
And of course, there's the small matter of gate receipts Notts have already collected for the two Harrogate games.
If it ever does get played, the FA will have to waive the rule under which a player is cup tied if he’s already played for another team in the competition. I think Notts might just be able to field 11 players who aren’t cup tied and maybe Harrogate could too, but bearing in mind the high turnover of players in the lower leagues, I very much doubt that Concord or Halesowen could.
I think this would be a the ideal solution. Actually going through with the unplayed fixtures would be madness when the season does't start until October with next season's competition to play as well as the FA Cup (and in Harrogate's case, the League Cup & EFL Trophy) plus the potential for many postponement due to Covid.
