    Dennis off to Scotland? [Rumour now confirmed}

    Rumours he's heading to St. Mirren after rejecting new Notts contract. Anyone know anything?

    Forget that. Now confirmed...bugger.

    "Kristian Dennis has turned down the offer of a new contract at Notts County.
    The experienced striker will instead move north of the border where will link up with Scottish Premiership outfit St Mirren."

    Would imagine the Menace was on a decent wedge. Will it be enough to get someone similar though?

    I can't blame him he wasn't getting regular starts with us and I am sure Ardley and Football Radar will find us another gem.

    Scottish Prem or National League, hmmm. Don't think anyone will begrudge him the chance. Not that surprised, but genuinely disappointed by this. He is a natural goal scorer. Agree re Football Radar. Hopefully can use the money well to replace him.

    Whilst he's a great poacher, I don't think he'd have started much to be honest. It's looking like we might be changing shape this year and I'm not sure he'd be great as a number 10 which I think we'll be playing with. If we can get a decent replacement on less money who is also younger, that would be a positive from a bit of a negative

    Very disappointing to lose our best finisher but can’t say I blame him. Dennis always seemed to be the one sacrificed when things weren’t going too well in matches, often when it was the failings of our midfield. I never felt we made the best use of him either. We don’t get enough balls into the box from out wide, for my liking, which is something both Wootton and Dennis would have benefitted from.

    I’m disappointed too. Decent little player. Good natural finisher.

    Be interesting to see who we bring in to replace him.

    Youv'e got to laugh that people think that Celtic and Rangers are Premiership standard when their rivals are picking up non league free agents

    Obviously a useful player, players like him don't come cheap so it's no suprise someone has snapped him up, if we're going to play 4231 then Wootton and Thomas are both better options as lone forwards to lead the line imo but a link up with Rodrigues playing behind Dennis might have been fun to see.

    Hopefully Football Radar can pick up a poacher similar to him from somewhere as we don't have another option like him now.
