Indeed Crash they are. I once watched a documentary about polar bears and it was said that the polar bear is unique in the animal kingdom in that if it picks up the scent of a human being it actually views it as prey. The first instinct, in normal circumstances, from all other animals (tigers, lions, other bears, etc) is to avoid humans if at all possible.

Plus, all polar bears are left-handed.
