Both wrong.
I have never been into back street pubs and left East London when i was young and brought up south of the water.
My local bar was the Anchor in Southwark Bankside and a pub in Bromley until i moved to the clean air of Hampshire.
As for Shisha bars i have no idea what they are.
But Daggers the Army veteran obviously does Lol.
Stand easy now or at ease or at attention or what ever ex army lags says Ha Ha.

I’m with Alf on this. I don’t know why southern publicans bother getting a licence because thee’s hardly any alcohol in their beer. I lived in London for years and my liver was in better condition when I left!

In my experience there are very few indigenous breweries anymore, you can pretty much drink any sort wherever you are, Norf or Sarf.....
