Thread: New Signings

    New Signings

I know it was only Ilkeston but:
Jake Reeves industrious, likes to put his foot on the ball and play. Offers more than Rose.

Adam Chicken : Not a signing yet but should be.Calm collected that's afte 10 minutes on the pitch.
Ruben Rodriguez: Future fans favourite.Got the skill and vision to penetrate defenses.
Elisha Sam: Not a good debut, not in the game.Looked off the pace. Hopefully more to come.

Casper Sloth slightly better than Sam
Jake Kean:Not much to do really.

Thought both Reeves and Chicksen looked the part. Reeves and Wootton looked the best players on the pitch.
Reeves looks nailed on for a starting place.

Jake Kean didn't play... The goalie in the second half was Tiernan Brooks

I thought Sam did alright as well. Some nice touches and a decent bit of hold up on occasion. Ob he's nowhere near match fit. Some of these Johnny foreigners haven't played a match in months.

You could see all had a bit about them. Rodrigues was further along than the others but you could see when up to speed, they're very good technical players.

I saw enough from Sam to predict that he will be a right menace. Reminds me of Paulo Wanchope, lanky, with legs everywhere but speedy and has a bag of tricks. Surprising for a big man and the Conference won't know what to do with him.

What impresses me now is that we have dangers all over midfield. If a team doubles up on Roberts, that leaves Reeves, Enzio, Rodrigues or Sloth free to do some damage...and vice versa. Interesting times.
