I’m not disheartened about this one as I think he’s better than what we’ve got and can hold the ball up well for the other front three to play around.

If we get him and Grant I’ll settle for that at this point.

Can't say I'm keen. I don't think he suits us, would prefer a striker who has a bit more pace and mobility.

Having said that, I'm sure he can bring other qualities such as holding the ball up and bringing others into play

Deeney has scored against every club in the Prem I would think so I don't think he will be low on confidence. Lets hope he continues.

As i said before if its a case of Deeney and Grant then I am delighted with that but not Deeney at the expense of Grant because although he is a marked improvement on what we have at the moment, the need for a young, pacy, strong goal scorer is blindingly obvious.
