We did ok for 15 minutes

And deserved the equaliser. The rest was garbage. Pope had a rare off day and looked anything but the England hopeful he is. He won’t be after this performance. Newcastle had one danger man, and we failed to do anything about it.Apart from him, they offered very little. I really thought we could go on to win the game as we were in the ascension and Newcastle were definitely on the back foot at the time.Had another chance gone in, I genuinely think we would have gone on to win. Instead the reverse happened. Where do we go from here ? Anyone got 5 loaves and two fishes to give to SD. This will be the biggest miracle since then.

It’s gonna take some pulling around this time I know that much , the more I watch us I can’t see where the solution will come from.

We are the nicest team in the league which is also a worry and we are dreadfully dreadfully slow.

    .

I think the short burst when we looked like a team...was helped by Newcastle dropping off the pace, they were immobile, stopped harrying us - that gave us space and time, freed us up to think - the moment they started to lift it - we were chasing the game again - but as much as we need a boost from new blood - I don't think we can continue playing to the same old routine, its well worn - especially if defence and goal drop the ball...concede more, and we need to score more....on top of that, if corners and crosses won't cut it....then what remains?...other than perhaps the Manager needing to rethink his game.
