Reported Stumbling Block Austin to Derby

Apparently the 70K a week is a stumbling block for Austin to move to Derby so:

    Austin 70K a week
    Zohore 50K a week
Welsh International most likely 50k a week

That would be almost 9 million a year in wages for three donkeys! You could not make this up!

Go f uck yourself Dowling you useless p rick! Still no sign of a striker!!!!

170 K a week for those three is just beyound belief and comprehension!!! 170 K a year would be more appropriate. 😈

It’s the £50k per week on Zohorre I find the most staggering.

There was no justification at all for paying £8m and paying £2.6m a year in wages on a lump who averages a goal every 5 games throughout his career!

At least Austin has a CV that made him worthy of taking a chance.

If Morton or Tulloch had played all last season they’d have scored more than Zohorre given the chance.

    For peanuts as well.

There seems to be an increasing stream of data on Albion player salaries coming out. Never seen this in the past. Saw today Hegazi is on £27.5k per week - which is apparently more than Livermore and also more than Bartley and Ajayi salaries combined. Adding in Austin and Zohore.... on £70k and £50k respectively ... I am starting to feel some early excuse positioning going on in case we don’t sign a decent striker ...... the only source of this data leak can be the Albion itself .....

Austin was past it well before his Saints reign came to an end though Mick - another Ricky Lambert in my view! When a player can't run he can't run or create only good at scoring if the ball drops to his foot or head.

In terms of Kanu - well being released by Reading sums up this situation!

Zohore - Cardiff supporters were laughing when we bought him which tells you something!

Deeney would be another one in my book - past his best - no legs and similar to Austin

We need another Odemwingie - fast - graceful - produces magic as well as scoring!

The three we have can only produce magic in the eyes of kids on Blackpool beach. No striker - we are DOWN!

I thought Zahore was on something like £25k pw (circa 1.25 million per year excl bonuses) with a clause in his contract that saw his salary go to £50k pw (circa £2.5 million per year excl bonuses) if we got promoted to the PL. it is just ridiculous.

I think one of the few things to come out of COVID is that football maybe will take a reality check. No wonder rich owners take the view that they are going to get money out of it all each year to pay for the financial risk they take. If Lai takes out the same as Zahore and Austin who can blame him? I don’t.

The problem is of course these huge wages are like a massive noose over the club’s finances now and restricting what we can do to improve the squad.

If you were the owner you would sack the c unt who negotiated these deals for our three strikers and question whether he needs sectioning!! Then again most owners take a keen interest in the affairs of a business and don’t leave it in the hands of clueless morons like Dowling!

It is not with the benefit of hindsight either but I would never have appointed him. Probably the most important position in the club and we appoint someone like him.
