    I bought most of his solo albums whereas I never bought anything by McCartney. Can't really listen to him anymore.

    John Lennon was a very good rock ‘n roll singer and output some good stuff post Beatles. He did, though, also do some rubbish, most of that was Yoko inspired. I expect that John Lennon was the only person ever to suggest that Yoko Ono had any talent, for anything! As for McCartney post Beatles, truly awful; Wings were not good, in my opinion, and that God awful dirge Mull of Kintyre really was terrible.
