    Hey big spenders !

Barnsley £1.2 million, so far bigger spenders than all the rest put together, he needs to be a Gerry Gow type to turn their season round ! Or does it mean they are spending money from the late sale of one of their prised assets ?

Sheffield Wednesday, can’t see those two players being anything other than expensive ? Surprised that Derby feel they can let Marriott out with their poor start and lack of goals so far ? especially to a relegation rival 😉

Also Flint must have deteriorated as he was their main stay last couple of seasons ? S6 have brought some good sounding players in this season, at least on paper? Hope they have not broken the salary cap !!

West Brom like other clubs must be feeling the pinch in having money in their coffers, they have bought Karlan Grant from Huddersfield Town for £15 million, yet are paying for the player in instalments, paying £2.5 million a year, over a six year period.

In the case of our near neighbours is it a case of " we're fecked anyway, let's have a gamble splurge of spending"?

Said Benrahma had problems with his medical for his move from Brentford to West Ham, after a agreed fee of £25 million, rising to £30 million, after sorting the medical complications out, West Ham were stuck for time to sign, seal & deliver, so they have signed the player on loan, with a obligation to buy at the end of the season.
West Ham have covered themselves in case of Benrahma having any medical issues during the season, if only the Millers had used this method after buying a few crocks with medical issues.

I'm sure we'd all like 'do-overs' as they call them here in the US on many aspects of life like buying a house, buying a car, buying a Sinclair C5, marrying the...(better not ) but unfortunately you don't always get the option and have to take on the risk.

After selling Watkins to villa for 20 odd million Brentford are getting another 20 odd million off West Ham for a striker whose name I’ve forgotten.

They can have the dosh... if they've not replaced very well they have more chance of joining us in the ruck 😁

So is that Brentford's bench mark for any player they sell, 20 million? I can just hear the out cries when Ivan Toney moves next from Brentford for 20 million!

I just hope TS is now aware Ladapo is now worth 15 million.
