First thing I thought of when I saw the headline that he'd died were the rumours on the playground when I was about 9 years old that he was coming to Goose Fair. Most of us played it safe and stayed in to watch "Jim'll Fix It" instead.
I've seen two of the people in this photo in real life during pre-match at Notts fixtures. No chance now of me completing the set......
