    The greatest ever?

With Maradona having passed away this week, where does he sit in the all time greats?

    My top three,

    Ronaldo (the current one)
    Maradona
    Messi

I think both Ronaldo and Maradona have the leadership and ability to win games and tournaments often off the back of their own brilliance in ‘weaker’ teams, whereas Messi (as great as he is) needs that stronger team behind him.

    Only my two penneth worth.

None of 'em a patch on Greavesy and even Cloughy had a better goalscoring record. Both were scoring in the days of hardmen defenders who'd flatten any attacker that came in their half. No poncey refs in them days, "Yer mardy sod, gerroff the pitch and take yer leg with yer."
