Thread: Charlie Taylor to extend..?

    Charlie Taylor to extend..?

Nice rumour circulating around and coming from Barnfield is that Charlie is about to pen a new deal.

Not sure whether Mike is opening the Dry Powder Store or the Yanks are funding it, but the same "source" suggests SD is getting a £50 million budget to extend contracts and/or add to the squad in a bid to stave off relegation.

Let's hope this is true and we can crack on.

I'll believe it when I see it.

I thought exactly the same sinkov, but the "source" is 100% reliable and he used to have Dave Baldwin's ear, so I am optimistic Taylor will sign and SD will have a few bob to spend how he thinks fit in January.

Fingers crossed eh? Anyway I'm on an upper this morning, so don't spoil it.

I wouldn't dream of it BT, let's both look forward to a Happy New Year as Sean throws bank notes around like confetti in January, and the media struggle to keep up with reporting all the incomings.

I'm even thinking of taking the dust sheets off the fleet sinkov...

So if we add that to the 35million we’ll accept for Tarky Sean should have a good pot of money ————- oh no that’s right bank £70 give sean 15 to fill four - five spaces in our threadbare squad.

I hope the Americans get the go ahead now or the Egyptian ( same wealth/ worth as Abramovic at chelskea) and we can have a proper go at staying in the league .

I’m not always over enthused by how we play but I believe Dyche deserves some backing and support ( if he doesn’t leave for Derby that is ).

I was thinking of volunteering to oil the trolley BT, but it seems like instead of a quick dash round Aldi, we might be taking the Range Rover to Waitrose this time. I live in hope.

Like you Army, I am not too keen on the style of play we tend to use. Having watched our glory days of the late fifties and early sixties, it is frustrating to see our current rigid style.

I do acknowledge the Sean Dyche has brought us some success and deserves a chance to move the club forward if there is some chance of improving the team. However, what I would like to see is if there is a chance in the January transfer window that any incoming player would include flair and pace, something we are sadly lacking. It would be a waste to sign players who are probably past their sell by date, which we have done in the past.

If the yanks are paying it won't be Dyche choosing the players... and we won't end up with players part their sell by date...
If Mike still runs the show then we know what to expect
