    January window talk

Where will the ALK money go?..
    Who is off?

Please post any links to support your post

Sean wants Joe Worrall from Forest to replace Tarks it’s said.

We offered £4m in 2017, they wanted £12m so they’ll want at least double that surely.

Yes we should be talking about the very close January transfer window Colner, but with the ALK buy out seemingly stalling (which to me seems very odd) I really would not like to speculate especially if Garlick is still in situ then that means we'll get a few outgoings but not any coming in.

It would seem odd to me Alto if they chose to go ahead. That is assuming it's their intention to buy a PL club.

Aye its a strange state of affairs Sinkov, an American investment company, an Egyptian billionaire (depending on what and where you read it), All coming with Covid apparently running rife, the Burnley team bare bones and not performing, sitting near the foot of the table etc etc.

Apparently Garlick has made it know to all who would listen that he's been looking for investment for the last 5 years, but we have hardly heard anything even when we got to the dizzy (lucky) heights of 7th, we never heard a murmer from Garlick himself about anyone being interested, and now suddenly we are the shiny prize in the shop window with all the chinese whispers

It could be a rouse that Garlick is orchestrating when he does not even want to step down, sounds off the wall I know, but lots of stranger things have happened around this ever changing ever depressing world of ours.

We could sell Tarka and McNeil and go into the championship with loads of money. Or we can go into the championship with them both.. A no brainer so sell them.

Everybody knows Garlic likes income and not expenditure.

If I went to a garage to buy a reliable car Alto, and the salesman said we have just the car you're looking for, but we can't get it through the MOT just yet, do you want to buy it, I think I would be inclined to say I'd wait for it to pass the MOT. Burnley are struggling to pass the PL MOT this season, why would anyone rush to buy them.

If Garlick takes the same view as you sinkov, he had bloody well better give SD some Wonga otherwise his share of the value of Burnley Football Club will be halved.

I enjoy reading all the comments but my guess is that the only thing that will happen is Tarks leaves in January or,more likely, the summer and we replace him with someone costing less than half of what we get.The rest will go towards what we have lost financially this season, boring but more realistic unfortunately.

Not Burnley but showing the benefit of US links

Former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson believes fresh investment in Leeds is imminent after the San Francisco 49ers opened a new Venture Capital Fund called ‘Leeds II’. (MOT Leeds)
