I've been a bit disappointed with Brownhill, nothing against him, he's a tidy, average PL midfield player, but after seeing his first couple of games I thought we might be getting something special, a diamond, it hasn't turned out that way, he hasn't kicked on, he's just OK.

Yes indeed BT, I'm with you on this. Nothing wrong with living in the real world, and next season we could be playing proper football in the Championship, and be force at that level. No more target practice for out of form City strikers, or 80 minutes backs to the wall, pretending we're a serious PL team, what's not to like ?

Never sure just what use the PL money is to the club Barrie. It seems to be a burden the board could do without, they seem to be almost frightened of it.

For me Brownhill has yet to be an average PL player, after saying that I like him more than I did Hendrick.

Cracking game tonight, got through so much work and got blocks in and won the ball back several times. He could be a real cog in the team now that we are starting to settle down a bit.
