Can we all make a concerted effort to keep the football threads to football only please .. BFC Jon is correct and I am in full agreement with him. I will do my utmost to post only what the thread is about without diverting onto other issues. Cheers guys do your best .. You know who you are.

Hey uncle Alf I totally agree, and Id be the first to admit its summat Ive done a few times myself.
As a mod Ive also asked fans in the past to try and keep it on said subject/topic, but its hard to do. Especially when going off topic on a thread isnt actually against the rules, so we cant do much about it even though its very annoying.
It annoys me as well when the off original topic subject goes on for ages, when nobody can be bothered to end that thread and start a new one. The Derby board thread called 'Millwall today ?' is an example there.

Some good threads end up so far away from the original they die or they get filled with repetitious political sloganis and pictures which must turn new posters away. Can mods issue claret, blue, yellow, and white cards as warnings. Lol.

To have just a footymad message board just about football it will cause the near death of the this board. When it is just football do you really want to hear over and over again about our style of play 'hoofball, or we are to slow and lack pace? Then if we had no prospects of new owners would it be again Garlick and we need ,we need, we need, over and over again. Boring repetition!

Only 2000 fans were allowed into the Emirates yesterday and not a Burnley fan in sight.
