    Everything Done!

Me and Mrs 59-60 have completed our Christmas shopping, everything is wrapped, and we can hopefully enjoy the festive season.

This year we are going to our daughter/son in laws(they are in our bubble) for Christmas dinner, so no cooking or washing up to be done!

And following last nights result and performance I am feeling full of goodwill to all mankind

What are your plans for Christmas Day, most people we know are spending it alone, but actually looking forwards to it, instead of having to play host to, or visit, their inlaws/outlaws.

We fully realise that this Christmas will be especially difficult for many people this year but hope that they find some joy.

    Merry Christmas.

We have cancelled the usual 15 family member malarkey, I really cannot take the risk of spreading this bloody virus to my 91 year old father-in-law who is stricken with cancer.

We will collect him, feed him regally, ply him with alcohol and later on take him home, tuck him up and then come back home and get well and truly mortalled.

It's disgraceful BT this virus and the way it has no.preference to who it takes , but I'm like you same scenarios with elderly family -------- the problem is you are irresponsible, selfish if you gave it to them ( I know your not but thats how it would feel I'm sure ).

Even me and the missus have disagreed as she's says she doesn't trust the inoculation and won't have it when the time comes, I say it's reckless not to have it as you can Kill people by simply passing it on .

The problem with all of this scenario is the politicians have lied instead of just being straight about this virus , I really can't believe it but there are many people out there who say it's just a flu as they havent had a personal immediate family loss - tragedy from it.

Couldn't live with myself if I was responsible for people's deaths.

One daughter works with infectious diseases the other is involved in Covid vaccinating people, so they are steering clear as they don’t want to give us anything. We may go for family walks with masks but it’s a meal for 2 for us. Then it’ll be TV Netflix Disney You tube. Exciting what!
    Merry Xmas everyone.
