Amidst all the doom and gloom, whether it be tier 4 lockdown or tier 5 football I thought it would be good to try and spread some New Year cheer.
2020 has been a pig of a year in many ways but for me it represents the year I created Notts County Stats which will be 1 year old on 2nd Jan. The interaction and support received from pretty much everyone on here and social media in general has been nothing short of amazing and I can’t thank everyone enough for their interest and contributions throughout the year.
Im sure there will be plenty to look forward to in 2021 both with the football and life in general.

It's been a terrible 2020 for our family this year... My wife had four relatives die of COVID in Italy and two of our friends her in the UK, one just a couple of weeks ago she was only just 56...
I'm afraid I don't hold out much hope for 2021 just hope all this hype about the vaccine brings positive results... We are desperate to get back to Sorrento next year to see my daughter she a nurse in Naples, and also my mum in law and the rest of the Italian side of the family...
So sorry to be on a downer but I wish all my Notts MAD friends a Happy New Year and hopefully we can get out of this poxy league...

I enjoy the stats page so thanks and HNY . It's 6.25am Jan 1 here I fell asleep at 9 oclock woke up at 11.55 and was asleep again by 12.05. Very happy with that and zero hangover. 2021 is the year that we get promoted you know.
