    GAME OFF

Today's league game against Eastleigh has been postponed, following a positive Covid test in the Eastleigh camp. The game will now be rearranged for a later date.

We'd like to send our best wishes to those involved at Eastleigh, and wish them a speedy recovery.

The season is turning into a farce at this level, and teams will be getting to a point were there simply not be enough time to play all the fixtures.

It is now time for the National League to wake up & smell the coffee and allow clubs who have their matches cancelled because of Covid see if it is possible rearrange another match with a club that may find themselves with there match cancelled too.

If our game against Eastleigh is cancelled, Ardley might have to use the FA trophy game at Stockport to get minutes into the legs of the squad.

Exactly. Even if it means moving fixtures scheduled for March / April if two clubs have a gap. Yeovil's game at Boreham Wood has been postponed this Saturday, why not bring our game at Yeovil due to be played on Jan 19th forward to Saturday? Every effort should be made to play whenever possible even at very short notice. It's not like supporters will have their travel plans disrupted.

Are you both seriously suggesting that the National League use common sense!

Understand Notts are trying to fill void left by Eastleigh postponement by arranging a previously postponed game for Saturday. It’s not been met with a positive response by the opposition. Has to be agreed by league and opposition. Club doing all they can to get a game.

Sounds like Yeovil aren’t playing ball on this one, presumably because they have midweek games tonight and next Tuesday, but no Saturday game on Jan 16.

The National League really ought to be taking some control of this if they want the season to be completed. Mickey Mouse outfit springs to mind!
