Roughly 4.5K a month to the government for 20 years. Essentially one less squad player.
    Is it worth it?
Honestly don't know if there is value in this for clubs or not but perhaps not the gross financial penalty I assumed it was going to be.

Still seems bizarre that the product that keeps Scottish football going - the Premier league - is being punished while lower leagues are given government gifts. The "wealth" of the ugly sisters definitely impacting negatively on the rest of the division

Interesting to see how many clubs take it up. Suspect after the transfer window closes and potential income dries up, we will get an answer.

Take the loan. I have no doubt over the period of 20 years we will sell the odd player for in-excess of a million from time to time. If so they cld easily repay an extra 200k here or there to help with repayments. Unless the insurance claim comes good. I dnt see any other way we will be able to financially whether this storm, or strengthen the squad prob in the summer.

    Take the loan 100%.

This would provide welcome immediate relief and take the obvious financial pressure off a bit. I'd imagine all of the teams below the top 2 will take it.

Think even the arse cheeks will be taking the loans don't think you will find many companys any where that would turn down a 20 year interest free loan of £1,600,000.If say septic and rancid never wanted it could we get their share also?Would not be surprised if ugly sisters try to get £9,500,000 loan each and rest can share the rest.
