    Positives from today

    It's baaaaaaaaaaaaaaack.

Jones has shown what this squad is capable of.
The players played with heart, spirit and what looked like-and i can't be sure of this because we haven't seen it for so long...confidence and composure.
There are so many others I'm going to let everyone else have a go.

But......fucking get INNNNNNN!!!! (yeah, I know we're still in danger, etc...but as Jake Humphrey said at the end, all we want is some fight, desire, etc)

C'mon...let's enjoy this while we can.

it was a good time to get three points, especially with the run of games we have coming, we hopefully can turn this momentum into another 3 points at Palace.

I'm not going to get carried away with today, 4 at the back definitely gives us a bit more bite in midfield and some extra legs to close down BUT we still didn't dominate the game (we possibly shouldn't considering the opposition) and in all honesty, i cant recall another chance we had other than the two goals. Wilson did very very well in the first goal, the second was a sucker punch when they were chasing the game in the dying seconds plus a better keeper than baby arms would have saved it.

Palace are a team in the same bracket as us, a decent mid table team that can finish top ten with a bit of luck.
Hopefully we can show our proper game against them.

If we beat them then I'm putting it all down to this Jones fella and Bruce should still be sacked

    chuffed with the win though

This is my first post since watching the game - it’s taken this long to recover. I’m completely stunned by our performance and expected nothing near that.
We played a high press (just let me type that again) we played a high press, had bite and desire (even Shelvey). Wilson looked deadly dangerous, Fraser and Miggy looked threatening and we looked like a football team.
I’m proud of my team for the first time in a long time and we fully deserved to win.
So, thank you Mr Jones. Even if the honeymoon period is short, it might well be enough to keep us up....,
