It's not so much the win...

...it's the manner of the performance.

As TT said, this is the first time I've felt proud of our team in a long, long time. All we ever want to see from them is, as Jake Humphrey tweeted, desire, effort and pride.

Aye, I'd like to see us winning games and I'd like to see us doing it in a style that I enjoy watching but they're things I want as opposed to expect.

We only expect that the players show commitment, passion and effort and try their very best each game and that's what we saw today. Aye, you'd like more quality but running your arse off like Hendrick did today, for example, is a start and it's something we haven't seen for quite a while.

I don't believe for a second that this had anything to do with Bruce because it was so different from everything we'd seen before (bar the second half against Leeds)-if it was then he deserves credit too but I don't think it was. If we play like that in our remaining games-and why woudn't we?-then we'll be ok this season.

And none of this is any great revelation or insight...it's just that we've had so little to be positive about recently I thought it deserved more than just the 'Positives' thread.

    Aye.

    Well said.

As others have said, and we all know.

Funny that this performance happened after we got a new "assistant manager".

the crappy part for me personally Zip is that Mike Ashley and his cohorts have sucked the life and vision out of this club that my initial reaction to the win was to not get carried away, it will be just a flash in the pan result, we will be back down to earth next week.

I have woken up this morning and realised we have taken 3 points from a top 8 team, we didnt sit back for 90 minutes and we actually had a team on the pitch

Almiron and Hendrick ran their arses off all game, Wilson was a handful and once Maxi is up to speed, things are looking promising.
I dont usually watch match of the day but i will this morning, Luke Edwards making some claims that our fans dont agree with.

Well done Graeme Jones and the players
