    Mpd/did

Dissociative identity disorder (DID), previously known as multiple personality disorder (MPD), is a mental disorder characterized by the maintenance of at least two distinct and relatively enduring personality states. The disorder is accompanied by memory gaps beyond what would be explained by ordinary forgetfulness.

The person with dissociative identity disorder may not be aware that it is happening at all. They may just have a sense of losing time or incoherence about who they are and what they have been doing.

It has become increasingly apparent that at least one person suffering from this disorder regularly frequents this Message Board, so I have decided that if I am fortunate enough to win this year's Predictocomp I would like to donate my winnings to a charity devoted to research into the problem.

In view of their personal experience, maybe Dick Large, Neil McDonald's Dick, The Clap, Total Idiot, Sir Les Patterson, C_U_N_T or one of their friends could recommend a worthy recipient.
