Teams are lining up now to play a Barnsley style better ......

    ........ than Barnsley.
    And frustratingly it’s working.
Val needs to find a key to unlock teams that come with that attitude.
Although saying that - blowing a gale doesn’t help long passes forward.

Well if the opposition teams want to play five defenders and two holding midfielders as Derby did tonight then bring it on .

It was our own performance tonight that prevented us from winning and nowt Derby did in my opinion .

Only Derby have taken something from us by changing their usual style in these last 8 games. As Animal said, we weren't exactly at our best. That is gonna happen and I'm sure Val will have the boys looking at this game and where we could've done better tonight. We move on. Setdy presents a new proposition

    Birmingham did well against us.
It was only the incredible DasDeeky goal that separated the teams.
We struggled against Millwall and Derby.
Over the last few weeks teams have started going long to bypass the Barnsley high press.
Val has to find a way now of beating teams that set up in that way.
It’s going to be interesting - as the tactics Val has introduced have been successful.
But there has to be a Plan B now other teams have found a way around Val’s tactics.
