    Villa game

looks like Bruce is already writing this game off judging by the press conference. Bitching on about the 3 injured lads and the international break coming at a good time.

FFS MAN YOU ARE THE MANAGER OF NEWCASTLE UNITED, HAVE A GO AT THEM, GO BACK TO BASICS IF YOU MUST!!

regardless of injuries, Villa have their best player injured too, go back to old school 4-4-2 with wingers and crosses and big man little man front two and have a go at them

    -----------------Dubravka

    Manquillo ---Laselles--Clarke---Dummett

    Murphey -- Hayden---Willock --Frazer

    ----------------Gayle --- Carroll

Would be great to have a go but Matt Ritchie is right, Bruce is a coward. Setting up for a draw in winnable games - coward, terrified of then winless Sheffield Utd - coward, throwing players under the bus - coward, Brentford - coward and sadly the list will inevitably go on.

You know when a lower league team draws one of the big boys in the Cup and they know they haven't really got a chance? That's what he sounds like. "We'll give it a good go" he said. As if it's a shot to nothing, as if, should we lose, we can say we tried. We'll give it a fcuking go??? As if that's enough!! ??

Honestly, man- get this c.unt out of our club.

to think that this is the man tasked to motivate the team and get them prepared for battle.

We are in a relegation dog fight when winning at all costs is the only solution.

The performances have been nothing short of horrifying for a premier league side, the actual bottom club play better stuff than us and the manager tells the world

"wey i think we have done alright lately, we have our three best players injured aswell"

FFS WOMAN! THEY WERE NOT INJURED FOR THE OTHER 20+ GAMES

he gives himself an excuse prior to the game and that mentality filters down to the players!

This is why Ashley loves him, they have the same dumbass thinking.

Mike you could lose 150 million off the value if you go down!
Aye but i will save 4 million by keeping Steve

Other than the fact that he's an utterly shite manager, my main worry is that he's either in denial or doesn't want to let on that he thinks we're in danger-doesn't matter which, the outcome is the same: he'll leave it too late to act. Personally, I think he's so fucking thick-and arrogant-that he actually thinks we're not in trouble and that we've got enough games left to get to safety. He always says-as he did yesterday-that there are 6 or seven clubs looking over their shoulders as if that makes it ok?? And there obviously aren't as that would include Leeds, Southampton and Wolves even if you include us. Fuxking dumbarse.

So...he went defensive against the second bottom team so will he try to play 2 goalies against a team much higher up?

    Positive: Gayle on for Hendrick.

    Negatives:
    Krapth
    Shelvey
Selecting a striker again who doesn’t ‘do’ goals.

The only place he could possibly play Gayle is up top with Shinton and Fraser either side. Gayle is pretty shit but at least he's a striker and hit a decent patch of form when the league restarted after the first lockdown.
