Frank, the EU has a serious problem with the AstraZeneca anti-covid vaccine.

The EU has a serious problem with the anti-covid vaccine. The serious problem is that it was created in Oxford, England, United Kingdom.

In the EU if a few people who have been injected with the AstraZeneca vaccine subsequently fart once within a month then it would be taken as proof that the vaccine causes farting.

The EU Medicines authority has not altered its stance of total approval of the vaccine. The UK equivalent authority, known to be as tough as any in the world, has not altered its stance of total approval of the vaccine.

Less that 40 cases of clotting in 17 million folk who have had it, which is fewer than in the general population. More lives will be lost through this delay just so that Macron and co can play politics. They should be strung up from lampposts, but I’ll just content myself with pointing and laughing.

There is a deep malignant hatred of the British on the continent, even before Brexit. The twelve miles between Dover and France must be the shortest span that divides two completely different ways of life.

The French and Germans no longer wear death heads on caps, and lob bombs at us with planes and guns, but they might as well.

It goes as far as allowing their own people to die. In France alone fif**** people will die of covid daily, because they wont get vaccinated, now multiply that with other countries.

This is the measure of malignancy in Europe. Thank god were out. The channel is the line where freedom is separated from despotism.

I quite admire the Germans. The UK and Germany have respected each other ever since the first human beings existed (which expert students of the The Holy Bible agree was) 6,000 years ago.

Whilst it is true that we had a couple of tiffs with Germany in the last century, the real enemy always was and always will be France.

The AstaZeneca vaccine is being made available on a non-profit basis by the company. It is the only anti-covid vaccine provider doing this. The drugs companies have a very powerful lobbying force in the EU. Co-incidentally, nobody seems to have as much as farted after receiving their vaccines, or at least no such emissions have been reported.

    Frank,
Do not give up on Italy. Write yourself a program which reads the web sites of the biggest 20 Italian estate agencies and selects only houses that are within a given price range in the whole of Italy or in a specified region. It should create an html file giving for each house the price, url, brief description etc. Sort the file into ascending price order. Then you can open that file in your browser and click on the url for any that you like from the whole 20 estate agencies, which gives the full description and photographs for that house. You can also get your program to use the English version of the specific house details or automatically translate the Italian version, where there is no English version.

I have done this for Hungary, Spain and France. In Hungary the optimum place for me would be on the outskirts of a town 100 miles from Budapest maybe to the south west, near to Lake Balaton. Hungary is, as a place to live, not high ranking for the Americans, but there are shrewd British folk living there. There are plenty of idyllic places there. Lazy folk will consider the language to be a problem, which is why the Yanks largely ignore it. That keeps the property prices down.

A lot of folk like to settle in places that they can boast about, which is why they ignore Hungary. There is considerable ignorance about Hungary such that people refer to it as grim and backward. Indeed if you are absolutely determined to find places in Hungary that are a long way from the nearest civilised facilities you can do so, but such places are very rare indeed. Certainly Budapest has got everything that a capital city needs and yet is quite pleasant, not hectic and certainly not ugly, far from it. For me, living on the outskirts of a town 100 miles from Budapest will certainly be an option.

There is well known perpetual enmity between Italy and Germany. Since Germany subsidises the entire EU this is a problem because Germany has a lot of power. There is also serious enmity between Hungary and the EU 'powers that be'. The political perception in Hungary is that it is a sovereign state and it resents the EU 'powers that be' giving it commands. It is one of those many EU members that does not want the 'United States Of Europe' to occur. Indeed just about the only people who want a 'United States Of Europe' are the dozen or so unelected morons who have all the power.

I hear what your saying. I have read a lot of good things about Hungary, it has traditional values. I havent given up on Italy, the problem is that i have two middle aged dogs and a partner with serious health problems.

As always life comes with responsibility that cant be ignored. If it were not the case, i would be doing all the things you suggest, and more probably, my bag would be in the hall. I do look forward to being free, but i shouldnt say that should i.

There is another aspect. I dont know how old you are, but it matters. I have had a recent health problem that had a fifty fifty chance of knocking me out. Thank god it was picked up with a scan. Maybe a more provincial or less competent medical facility would not have picked it up. It was an eye opener.

It doesnt mean you cant do what you want, but you do need medical cover, especially at my age, and maybe yours. Bodys wear out. You need an A and E nearby, and know where it is.

Like one abroad in Italy or Hungary or wherever. I have a dream that i will be free to go where i want whenever i want, whether it happens is something else. Spending a day walking in the mountains with the sunshine and a good meal would be as good as it gets.

Its funny you mention the Germans, parts of Italy where my mother comes from speak German, as well as Italian and Slovenian. Their main language is German, which i find remarkable, its only small communities. Some schools there now teach in Slovene. My mother prided herself on speaking Italian and Slovene. I have had my DNA done and i have 9 per cent German in me, probably from the Lombards and Austria, that part of northern Italy has changed hands countless times.

We will have to keep in touch, it sounds like we have a lot in common.

The unelected dozen or so who have all the power in the EU are not all that bright. At every opportunity they intend to punish the UK. It would help to counter the ever growing trend of EU member states watching the UK's progress, with a view to Leaving.

But the buffoons fail to realise that being hostile to the UK from a weak position will result in defeat after defeat for the EU.

It seems that they are acting in ignorance of the fact that the UK has left and will no longer be pissed upon.

What annoys me is that Britain is always on the receiving end of aggression. We never seem to punish, just take. That is in the English character though. When things get really bad, as they have done, the lion comes out.

Being pre emptive is effective, toleration goes too far. The west is too tolerant of Russia, their mind games always win. Putin has threatened to murder Biden, Putin can be brought down tomorrow if the US wants too, economically. You cant be dependant and abusive to those that feed your people.

Or can you? Putin does. We dont need less hawks, we need more. Standing up to a bully works, the more passive socialist, woke, understanding bonnallacks we have, the worse it gets.

Cut f cking Putins b alls off. Thatlll work. You can repeat that with Macron, etc
