    Barnsley

You have got to hand it to them, had a dreadful start to the season and are now in a play-off spot . What have they done differently to us ( apart from winning more games) ?

According to a Barnsley fan that I used to work with they completely changed their style of play when the new Manager came in ELK.
They went from trying to play the traditional expansive passing game that a lot of cship teams play to a more agricultural in your face spoiling game and it's worked a treat.

So rather than change the players, which they can't afford they've change their style to adapt to the quality of their existing players

He doesn't think it will last though and us expecting them to get found out sonetime very soon

The recruitment of Carlton Morris and Daryl Dike in January took us to another level , 14 goals between em .

The lad Dike is a phenomenal footballer , potentially high level PL in the none too distant future .

The system we play suits the young lads down to the ground , it's not always great on the eye but it's bloody effective , absolutely horrible to play against .

You start to win games and the confidence grows .

It's a one off season , the championship is shyte this season .

Where this ends who knows , if we get in the play offs then anything can happen .

We may have to get promoted to keep the HC and this group together next season mind you .

The vultures are already circling with the PL clubs watching our young players and Crystal Palace wanting our HC .

Normal championship service next season for us I reckon .

Hope Barnsley go up in the play offs, if they can keep in the top 6,
with the benefits of the premiership, a season of having a full house,
when fans allowed in, so revenue up.
Good pay day at the end of the season, then if they are relegated, there
    is the parachute payments.
