    They would have loved it

What a great season this has been. We’ve been taken far beyond what we expected.
We brought in a manager who we hadn’t heard off and what a impact he’s had.
We've seen young players mature into championship players plus we’ve been treated to some great goals, we’ve also brought in players in Dike and Morris who have added that bit of expectation whenever they’ve got the ball.
If this is as far as we get this season it’s still been a great ride.

Above all this though my overriding thought though is with reds fans who we’ve lost along the way.
I personally have lost family and friends during this pandemic as I’m sure a a lot of other people have, I know we’ve even lost a long standing member of this forum.
I’ll always miss them and meeting up before and after the matches, having a pint or two with lots of banter.
If they had safely come out this pandemic we would have discussed this season for months until we start on our next adventure.
I wish they could have had this season, they would have loved it.

    Great post Doggy .

We lost one of our own in Exiletyke who spent quite a bit of time on the millers message board and wasn't exactly totally popular over there at times .

I can't help thinking that cantankerous old bugga had his spiritual finger prints all over our victory yesterday's and is having an enormous chuckle to himself right now .
