I'm off after 15 years and I expect most people will be glad. That's OK. Recently there was some problem with a post by Stevemiller. I don't know what it was as it had been deleted but I assume it was some kind of threat. I looked again at my post to see what had sparked this (presumed) animosity. In the context of a load of crap from PW about considering his position and a load of crap from his supporters that this man of honour would resign if we went down I called him a barnacle who would never quit a well paid job. Who was right? For this I got threatened.

If you examine my posts over the years and ignore the hyperbole I have repeated three strands. First, that MM comprises a mix of diehards (I call them the Brave 500 which is probably wrong of me), expats and politicos. I mix with Millers all the time and many, many share my cynicism and disagree with MM. Secondly, I don't rate the investment approach of the board. After months of silence as the ship sank it's suddenly that time of year and our jack-in-the box appears with "transfer targets are being considered" and "funds will be available for a promotion push." Is this guy for real? Thirdly, I don't rate Warne. I think he's a bottler well out of his depth. You may disagree but we did get relegated and we lost all his famous "cup finals."
Anyway, life's too short and so goodbye.

I do look at all the threads that are on here, but with you wendun, I went from calling you out as for what you meant? Or the way forward? which ironically was a thread that you put up, which I actually took as being serious, but you didnt reply. Now i know a little about you then i realised you give nothing to this forum and went from reading your posts, to in the end just leaving them alone and the only reason I have read this is because it's a new thread, and the fact that gru actually supports you and wants you to stay probably says more than any argument I can make.
I always try to be respectful but, for me anyway, you wont be missed although from what I gather from people on here who know you I'm not sure you'll go away UTM
