    I watched Albion win the FA Cup. Side note ist cup final in colour and ist substitution.
    My age group was so lucky, seen us win the LC 66,then the ist LC final at Wembley v QPR 67,back again in 68,only a semi final in 69 then our last final v Man City LC in 70.

    Yes......the rest of us have had a fun packed time since my first game in April 72, even that was a home loss to Leeds who my dad supported!

    Back in the 78-82 I would never have envisaged a 40 year wasteland of relative ( to that era ) mediocrity at best.

    Relegation to the third division, the coffin at Shrewsbury, buying the wrong Paul Williams from Stockport, Trev The Shed, Pullis and cap it all off with the midget from the Far East.

    Even Blues have won a pot in my almost 50 years 😩
