    Proud

What a ride , at times it wasn't always that great on the eye but none the less we've had one hell of a season .

Seeing those lads walk out in a championship play off semi final over both legs filled me with pride given our budget .

    We've had a right go .

    Incredible season .

Where we go next season I don't know but tonight I'm concentrating on how far we've come this season .

Well done Val and the lads , massively proud of you ALL .

They have done far and beyond what any of us expected. Magnificent results.
What happens now, after a “nearly” season is up in the air.
We need three seasons of this, strong support, strong backing, and a consolidated plan.
Really hope Brentford do it this season, and if I’m honest, the Swansea team all round didn’t show any weak link over two legs .
    I think they’ll do it.
Great season...... what a shame we didnt see it live.

    Well done Reds.
    No complaints

It's entirely out of our control where we go from here and I say that because there isn't a single fan of this club in control of its destiny .

    That's a solid fact .

    It's a business before it's anything else .

That was made perfectly clear with the £25 charged to fans in the first leg of the play offs despite the fact not one of those ST holders had seen a single ball kicked inside Oakwell for 15 months .

    I repeat it's a business .

I obviously don't know what the plan is going in to next season .

Maybe tonight is not the time and it's better just to focus on a remarkable season at a tragic time in history .

Massive amount of positives to pull out of this season .

Whether it's a step towards even greater ends to a season I honestly couldn't say .

    It's a business .

Agree with that hope that all the players stay with us and that we give it a good go next season

    Massively disappointed.
As I’ve said previously I was happy to just get to the playoffs.
BUT ….. Swansea were there for the taking unfortunately our starting line up was wrong and because of that our intensity just wasn’t there.
    A very flat dull match.
To add to the flat dull match at Oakwell.

I would't call the home match flat and dull Nudge, it was much more intense and exciting than tonights away match put it that way.
Yes the feeling is that we've not given it our absolute best and some were left wanting tonight, which is frustrating. And you only get one crack at it, theres no second or third chances when it comes to the Play offs and who knows when we will be playing in them again at the end of a season.

We played as well as we were allowed to acido in my opinion .

Swansea did to us what we've done to the majority of the championship this season , stopped us becoming effective .

The result I expected, Swansea were just that bit too good for us in every game this season.

It becomes really interesting now, do the consortium build or cash in on the players and coach and try and re construct another team.
I hope they don’t get too cocky in their plan and think that it’s easy this football business.

Odds on Barnsley getting relegated next season ?

If offers come in for three or four of these lads then unfortunately it will be difficult to resist them , twas ever thus no matter who owns us .

With the new legislation regarding the recruitment of players from the EU it will be a challenge to replace them effectively .

I think the country's decision to leave the EU is a massive blow to the club's model , that's not a criticism of the leave vote btw I'm just highlighting where we are as a club who do a great deal of business within the EU .

This could be a very challenging summer for the club .

However from what I read at least two championship clubs could be facing points deductions next season , keep your eye on the situation at Reading .

You've also got Peterborough , Blackpool or Lincoln coming up who won't find the championship anything other than difficult .

I wouldn't expect us to have anything like the season we've had but I think we'd at least be lower mid table .

Anything above half way would be a bonus in my opinion .
