    Dyche - dressing room

Just a little conspiracy theory , but do we think he’s lost the dressing room because they know he’s going ?
I’m asking because there a few things creeping in that ordinarily wouldn’t , Woods comments on tv Barnes drunk at the wheel.,
Open comments about we could have bought in the last window but chose not to , abject performances ( I know we’ve had a few of them across this year )
I just get the feeling something is underlying at the club at the minute.

I'll bet you constantly worry about the price of petrol army88.

Human beings are fallible, they do not always go to script.

We all need a break from bloody football, the players especially, it's been a ridiculous season played out for the benefit of television revenue.

Don't read too much into a couple of daft statements and incidents.

Add to the mix that we've got new owner's and who knows what goes on behind closed doors?

You’ve got me all wrong BT never looked at price of petrol- diesel for years , can’t change it so don’t worry about it.

I would have liked us to finish the season like we were playing for the manager and places for next year etc though , not getting overrun and footballed to death by the whipping boys.

I know there’s an argument of we’ve survived again but it’s poor to watch on the whole isn’t it , and we don’t seem as though we can replicate a good performance when we have one.

I can calm down now anyway and wander if they’ll let me in when it returns , can’t wait for the who were linked with threads plus if Tarky - Pope leave the manager should have 80 million including gibsons money to recruit.🤞

It's the ALK loan plus interest that's causing me sleepless nights army88.

It will be a very interesting next eight weeks, that is for sure.

It's fair comment imo Army, but I don't think he's lost the dressing room as such. I suspect he's lost a bit of his enthusiasm for the job, which is hardly surprising, and this is seeping through to the players. Once the job was done and we were safe for another season, the players were on the beach quicksticks, that would not have happened in previous seasons. It seems like the end of an era to me, but who knows, it's always been hard to read the situation with Dyche and Burnley FC, it still is.

I still think he will be off soon.Either wait to see if ALK back him or jump ship if he thinks it is not forthcoming.

Difficult for me to comment on this - because I believe the whole game has an underlying insidiiousness about it, there's too much dosh involved, it controls it in ways that it shouldn't. As for S.D, he could have gone at any time, but then why should he have, he's on good money, works to a fixed formula, has stated his contentment on many occasions. As for the players, the same, if they're happy to continue the expected routine, they can do it with Dyche....but, if another manager brought his game, he'd have to undo that, and we dont know who's capable of what...but then, with S.D, if he made for change, we'd be just as unsure, with himself and the players,
....it depends on who stays/leaves, who we bring... if S.D even cares, and feels he can replace and continue without ignominy to blot his Burnley tenure, and future hopes...he could stick around, but even if he leaves...he need to find a team he can mould to him, or if he's lucky, perhaps one that can run itself for a time - but if he has to build to another design, can he do it ?
We can praise our position all we like, but fact is, we've been run down, are threadbare...and without strong investnent, are in a serious predicament.
