    Sad news.

He holds the Guinness Book If Records for running every day ( at least a mile ) for 52 years and 39 days whatever his health and wherever he was in the world.

He jogged in a plaster cast and whilst on plane journeys, he was a bit of a nutter😆

Didn’t help him avoid hardening of the arteries and dementia though although maybe it happened 15-20 years later due to his fitness.

A true legend though RIP Ron.

You could be the new Ron Mick - just need to keep running for another 25 years!

I don’t do it every day though, too much pressure if you do that, too stressful on mind and body.

Hate to say it but I have never heard of him, but running and jumping isn't really my bag.
We have a lot of daft buggers around here darting around the streets looking at their watches.
A good s hag would do them the world of good and they would enjoy it more.

A good s hag and a few pints of beer. That’s what the yesterdays proper footballers did like The King - Super Bob and Bomber!

I was fortunate to meet Ron on several occasions, The first time was in Holland at the Enschede Marathon , the second oldest Marathon in Europe. He has run it several times and was well known over there. He had his own sports shop Ron Hill Sports and could be seen at road races all over the country. He had a personal Best marathon time of 2hrs 9 mins 28 sec which he set when winning the Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh in 1970, He also won the European Championships and finished 7th in the Mexico Olympics.

A real gent, who will be missed by the Athletics fraternity.

Nuno was a real gent too and in my humble view you could regret him moving on. Football under him took your club further than many could have imagined. Those who think you are a top six side are dreaming. Fat Sam is available?

Love to see Nuno come to us but reckon he could be moving to Spurs and if correct - he could improve them!
