    06/Jun - Hartlepool v Bromley

Who do we want to win this?

Under normal circumstances, I'd say Bromley because our fans would massively outnumbers theirs in the final. But what will the capacity be at Ashton Gate? It hold 27,000 so presumably it's only going to be around 6k reduced capacity with 3,000 tickets each and Bromley probably would be able to sell close to that.

Will be wanting Bromley to sneak it, then do badly at Stockport who then go into the final not ready at all for what's about to hit them
(we should want Pools eliminated, bad match-up for us)

Yeah, as well as they've done against us this season, I suppose you'd have to feel more confident playing against Bromley than Stockport or Hartlepool.

Stockport would probably be the toughest of the three, as their final position suggests, but our head to head record against Stockport is better than our record against Hartlepool and our recent record against Pools is awful.

Edit: Not forgetting we've got to get past Torquay first of course, which we can't take for granted.

Any play-off game is tough so it's difficult to chose.

I think against Bromley we would on paper swing more in our favour, and the game may have a more typical national league type of game much like when we played them at their ground the other week. I think they had us figured out. If we were playing them we would have to not get sucked into playing their game.

With Hartlepool psychologically they have the upper hand on us as they have beaten us twice this season. However it's what you do on the day in the play-offs that matter not what you did in the 40+ games previously. Likewise that could be motivation to beat them when it really matters. I think it would be a really tight contest if we played Hartlepool and both sides are probably much of a muchness.

Getting past Torquay first I think will be the toughest test. They finished ten points clear of us having won 3 and drew 1 more. However we nearly beat them at Plainmoor recently so we can go into that game being confident.

I can see Bromley sneaking it tomorrow, Hartlepools season kinda petered out a little towards the end while Bromley will be on the crest of a wave after sneaking into the playoffs...should be exciting

I actually do not know! If we make the final it will be a game I am not confident about winning regardless of who we face
