Agreed. No disrespect to Trevor Carson, he had had a terrible time of it over the past three years with injuries and illness but we can’t rely on him being our No.1 going forward.

Aye and if you think that Celtic hadn't been outrageous cheapskates when they wanted him in January 2018, he would have a couple of medals (Scott Bain, despite being half the keeper, went from being on the verge of unemployed to accumulating 3 titles, 2 Scottish Cups and 1 League Cup) and a bank account a couple of zeros heavier, Carson can be excused more than most for wondering 'what if' over his morning cornflakes. He deserves the very best of luck whatever happens next.
