    If England beat Denmark....

Italy's defence is tailor made to be ripped apart by Sterling, Sancho, Saka et al...

    Bonucci (34) Chiellini (36)

That's assuming Italy beat Spain which i think they probably will

One game at a time of course but it is exciting to be an England fan at the moment i think most will agree!

Bonucci and Chiellini read the game well, our pace on the wings doesn't mean a thing.

Chiellini is the total professional, but his age is against him and the youth and pace and skill and confidence we're gaining right now, that really should count for something IF we were to play them.
But they have got their own threats as well which we should worry about, and it's a mistake at the moment anyway to be looking beyond the Denmark game.

I wanted Gareth out after the awful performance against the Scotch, but a few more games on and it's exciting to be an England fan once again, and it really has been a roller coaster feeling watching them in this tournament.

I heard a few in my local saying the same but I kept silent as it is all about opinions. However playing badly in ONE game which is like a Derby game is no reason to get rid of a manager. Before the Germany game many people including ex players who had won nothing at International level said Southgate was too defensive. In the finals of this competition you can't be gung ho like KK even though it's great to watch.Ive seen great flair sides like Holland knocked out in the past by sides who were more technical in defence.

This guy needs to come out of his shell and tell us what he REALLY thinks of us.

If they put in as much effort and enthusiasm in trying to beat other teams as they do against us then, eventually they might get somewhere.

They do read the game well but if the game became stretched if we went 1-0 up for example i think we could really hurt them on the break. But anyway lots of football to be played before that scenario...

Exactly, and its sorry and pathetic to be honest the way they look at life. Here's one of their fans comments on a current Footymad thread, and then they wonder why they are looked at in such a bad way for thinking like this...

" I’m desperate to see England lose simply because I hate them, my own National team is scheite and when they lose it’s funny and it gives me more pleasure than what my own team does. Does that make me a Funster ?. "
