Those were the days when Burnley, Ipswich, Tottenham and Wolverhampton dominated English football. Those of us at a certain age remember them well and as far as Burnley are concerned would like to see them return.

A smashing era for the Clarets. It's remarkable what they achieved with facilities that bear no resemblance to the fantastic environment that modern players have available. Seeing the lads training on the car park brings back some memories!

That kid is (or was!) Dave Merrington. No doubts whatsoever.
