Thread: Vs Saints

    Vs Saints

Tough game against a team in excellent form, need to keep it tight in the middle and not give away needless free kicks for JWP to do his thing. 4-2-3-1 for me

    Emi
    C/K/M/D
    Sanson/McGinn
    Ramsey/Buendia/Countinho
    Ings

No room for Ollie ? I’d give him a whirl ahead of Ings after scoring a very good goal. Covers a lot of ground.

    Tough game for sure.

One change for me, Sanson in for Luiz. We need to learn from our mistakes and we owe Southampton one.

Well we gave Southampton one! Clean sheet, 4 goals 3 points.....that will do nicely.

Brilliant! The Watkins/Ings pairing CAN work - 2 wins, 2 clean sheets, our inconsistency has been our downfall this season when you take the Brentford, Watford and Newcastle games into account, win 2 of those & Europe would be well within reach.

Dare I say it, play just one number 10!
Great game for Chambers today hes playing out of his skin and thats what we want. His ball to Coutinho was sublime, are we sure hes a defender?

Delighted to win so convincingly. There was a bit of steel, as well as skill, in that performance.

A good win at Leeds on Thursday, and we’re on our way to resurrecting the season.

    Onwards n Upwards
