Sheff Utd, with another £20 odd million in the bank from selling their keeper and parachute money, looked poor and will be on the look out for players who have shown some ability in the Championship, preferably from a club that has a history of selling players at below their market value.

In my view that’s one of the three red lines.
We shouldn’t sell any players to Leeds or the Sheffield clubs.
Neither should we sell in January while in a relegation or promotion battle.
And neither should we give players away - which in the past we often did - although I don’t think it would happen these days.
