    For sale on ebay

    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/165056257...wAAOSwQy1hNhwc

1974 edition of Football Post featuring Forest v Notts Dec 28th 1974
Reports on Notts 2-0 win at the City Ground.
Goals by Sir Les and Steve Carter
Great picture on the back page features Sammy Chapman playing for Forest with Dave Needham Notts and Barry Butlin Forest. All three of these great players swapped sides later in their careers.
    Must be worth a punt.

"A goal by transfer listed Les Bradd..."

That was a baron season for him, just 6 goals (half of them against York City). that one at Fword being the 5th - so he'd only score once more after the Xmas period. The following season he was top scorer with 16 including another at the City Ground.

    The 1974/75 scorers....
    Scanlon 14, Randall 7, Bradd 6, Vinter 4, Needham 3, Probert 3, Stubbs 3, Carter 2, Masson 1, O'Brien 1, Bolton 1, Mann 1, McVay 1, Own Goals 2

You could count on Les to do the honours. Pity it wasn't a knight match.

A good result considering Ray O'Brien and Ian Scanlon were out injured, and Don Masson had earlier that month been transferred to QPR. It was a young Pedro Richards' sixth game for the Magpies, and Brian Stubbs' fourth as captain.
