Player ratings:

Jensen - 8 - Solid, commanded his box well, kicked well, throwing excellent. Made some quality saves.

Riley - 8 - Not tested defensively but dominated our right flank. Lovely assist for the first goal and great throw for the second.

Armer - 7 - Much improved with a decent defender alongside him.

Feeney - 7 - Suspect in the air a couple of times but defended well overall and his use of the ball was generally good, excellent assist.

Dinzeyi - 9 - Different class. Fantastic use of the ball and superb in defence

Charters - 7 - Makes such a difference having an actual brain in midfield

Devine - 7 - Ditto Charters.

Toure - 7 - Caused allsorts of issues for Everton, perhaps lacking end product, but comparison to what's been served up by the "first team" a joy to watch.

Bell - 6 - Battled hard and tried to dribble, maybe it didn't quite work out for him and he needs to learn when to put his foot on the ball and pass it.

Clough - 7 - Too far forward, but when he stepped into midfield played very well.

Young - 8 - Should've scored before he did, but clearly has the goalscoring touch as well as being a certified nuisance upfront.

I was delighted by the game plan. While not forgetting the team we were playing (despite their effort they were rarely in it) we did not play the long ball, we pressed well and tackled back.

Jensen - 8 No problems.

Riley - 7 - A couple of errors

Armer - 7 - More confident

Feeney - 7.5 -He looked decent.

Dinzeyi - 9 - Man of the match. Hardly put a foot wrong

Charters - 7 - Confident

Devine - 7 - A good game after a long lay off

Toure - 7 - He just needs that something extra

Bell - 7 - A promising game

Clough - 6.5 -He has a lot more to give

Young - 8 - Can't complain about his two goals

Mani. Why was he put on if he is suspended. He did ok though.
