    Arbitration

The date has been set for the takeover arbitration,it was announced in court today that it will be on January 3rd.

Ashley's case against the Premier League is going on today with the Prems Q.C. first asking for it to be thrown out then saying their evidence should be in private.

The judge seems to agree stating arbitration is normally in private and some of the evidence in this current case will be the same as in arbitration.Ashley wants it all in public.

I read that the Prem want this CAT case thrown out as it's basically the same as the Arbitration one? Or that's what they're claiming....

i have sat and watched this case all day, its still ongoing, its just crashed.

The PL QC said Arbitration will run on Jan 3rd and will only take 1 week to conclude.

He made it sound like it was going to go in the clubs favour, but this is obviously a ploy to get Ashley to drop the CAT case against them.

The PL QC waffled on for absolute hours addressing nothing at all other than it should be dropped because the Arbitration is ongoing and Ashley has not suffered any losses. He then kept pushing for the CAT to be delayed until Arbitration has concluded. The CAT Chairman shot him down a couple of times like.

Our team is currently putting their arguments forward and have even stated that BeIn sports conducted in lobbying the EPL to block the takeover. Id be astounded if this didnt go ahead like

In the end, I can see it finally ending in the club's favour. P.L. obviously has a lot to hide and must be afraid of the embarrassment of it all coming out and made public. Obviously then "faces" in the P.L. would be shown to be in blame and held to account.

It would be a service to the game as a whole if certain heads at the P.L. were forced to roll as a result of this.

I think the pl lawyer pushed off the cat chairman (or whatever he is) by being very dismissive of cat and their involvement.
Appears they sided more with de Marco and us in not keeping it all private.
Also didn’t seem impressed with all the delays by the pl
What was that bit about the pl not telling ashley something pertinent about the takeover cos he isn’t a director???? Or something like that

And cheeky ****s - threatening to expel us from the pl for pushing the takeover.

All in all from what I can gather - the pl lawyer looked sicker and sicker and de Marco looked more and more relaxed.
Could all be an act of course.

For me, one of the key points from today was that the Saudis are still interested.

I mean, ultimately, something makes me think that the cunts at the Pl, the absolute arsehole other clubs who lobbied against it and the bastard Qataris will get their way.

There's absolutely no-one on our side when, actually, the other clubs (i.e. not the six twats) absolutely should be because exactly the same would happen to them if they wanted to muscle in. They're all a bunch of self-serving shitehawks (not saying we'd be any different, mind).

We are, as McClown would says, underdogsh and that phrase exists for a reaosn.

As Keegan would say, though...I would love it, just love it if...

The (corrupt) Premier League threatened to have NUFC expelled for having the nerve to take them to the Competition Appeal Tribunal (CAT)
