5 reasons why Schopp is a flop

Apologies if you have read this on twitter over the weekend but something I wrote about Schopp and why he isn't the man for the job.

    😂😂😂
    Like it.

But seriously - when I was at the pit we had a saying - it’s a poor workman that blames his tools.

……. if I’d have relied on just one place (pit stores) to supply me with tools then I wouldn’t have been able to do the job.

Marcus ….. relies on one place for his tools.
It’s the Oakwell Store with James and Paul stood at the counter.
Marcus can only use those tools given to him.
And it’s obvious he needs to add to his socket set.

And before anyone suggests it - no I’m not saying the players are tools.
    😂😂😂
But yer know what I mean.

Hang on a minute, he's not been given a bad deal here has Schopp. He's a a full pre season and been handed a settled squad with decent championship experience between them yet he's managed to completely feck it up and plunge us back into relegation trouble.

This int Hecky in 2017 or Stendel in 2019 who both had the rug pulled from under them and had to start the season with 10 unknown signings with no experience in this division.

This clown ent a clue. He's a cardboard cut out on that touchline. He clearly doesn't know what is required in this division.

What do you describe as a ‘settled squad’ ???
    Training staff gone.
Unable to bring his own training staff in.
Two important players leave - Mowatt and Dike.
Mads - and especially important - Morris is out.
    Twelve players leave.
Six brought in and none of them fully match fit.

It’s anything but a settled squad.

It’s like a joiner starting work and the gaffer says to him ……… ‘reight then, I want you to start work building that big staircase - but we can’t give you any saws or chisels just yet because we are in the process of sharpening them up - but they should be sharp enough in about 3 months time - in the meantime here’s a hammer and a bag of nails’.

After listening to Khaled - I think the club realises they have placed Marcus between a rock and a hard place.

Schopp has an impressive record as a manager.
He doesn't immediately become a cr@p manager that hasn’t a clue as soon as he walks through the door at Oakwell.

A good response there nudger and all valid points but I think what’s winding the fans up is his team selection substitutions and formation.

I’ve just read Brittains comments about the fans could possibly give a bit more by getting behind the team more but what the management and players have got to realize is it’s efforts on goal and testing the keeper that get the reaction they’re after and frustratingly that’s been in very short supply this season.

Great article in the blog and kind thanks to Manc for sharing it with us .

Hard to see how anyone can disagree with that blog , nail hit firmly on the head .

I read a decent post on bbs last night when the poster said even Johnson's 9 league one defeats in a row carried a fair percentage of support for him .

Keef had his defenders myself included but this clown has none what so ever .

We can't all be wrong .

Speaking for myself, that's certainly what's winding me up doggy. I didn't see the first 8 games but just looking at the team sheets made me wonder. The last 2 games have wound me up in terms of team selection, substitutions, formation and just trying to understand how we're supposed to be playing. Last season it was obvious what the tactics were, it was organised, we pressed and we played our best players in positions that they were suited to and knew their responsibilities. I've watched the last 2 games and I'm not sure even the players know what the playing style is supposed to be, so I've got no chance. I think Schopp has to think about a new formation, especially if Morris and Obbi are out long term. But he also needs to play our best players in their best positions and get a settled 11.
