I’ve been. It’s just like all the other places that do that kind of bbq food.
Not such a bad thing though. Don’t expect too much and you’ll be happy.
If you’ve been to smoke bbq in Sheffield it’s just the same.

Thanks all for the replys. Ive read the reviews and as crash says. Prob best to go when they are not busy as most of the bad reviews are poor service/waiting times..
Thanks pocket, scum. I've been to smoke and reds a few times in Sheffield. If it's on par with them that's ok with me. Wouldn't say they are wow but a good bit of grub.

Been to rancheroes howdy a few week back,. Very Tasty steak though not overly impressed with sides and desert. A bit bland.

Were off to the "butcher and catch" tonight. Heard some good reports about the seafood though the images of the ribs look mighty juicy

Twas a Good evening. Parked In the carpark across from Nottinghamshire arms. Had pint In There before nipping over the road to the butcher's and catch. Really enjoyed the meal. Starters mrs had Charred mackerel fillets, toasted garlic & herb ciabatta, onion jam, lemon & mustard dressing, Crispy rocket, capers.
.I had Spicy hot wings and lemon maple and mustard wings. 3 of each.
Mains. Hendos BBQ braised beef rib, salt baked sweet potato, summer slaw, jalepeno & cheddar cornbread, sweet corn ribs, sesame seeds...
Mrs had Pan roasted rack of Derbyshire lamb, lamb fat pomme anna, minted cavelo nero and peas, pea & mint puree, deep fried lamb sweetbread, rich lamb sauce. . Sides we had onion rings and tried kimchi. Desert I didn't bother as I was stuffed. Mrs had Lemon cream tart, sweet shortcrust pastry, sour lemons & lemon meringues.

Negatives sweet breads were just like fried batter. No real taste. I realise I don't like kimchi. And ribs were a little dry though very tasty The rest was really good especially the lamb.. 4 drink. 2 pints, 2 soft drinks. Bill was £82
