    FA Cup draw

This afternoon at 3.15. Teams are here - https://www.thefa.com/news/2021/oct/...-draw-20210410

Not sure if it's always been regional at this stage or if it's a covid/fuel thing, but there are 14 NL teams in the southern draw, compared to just 9 in our half.

Only one team (Hanley, who still have a replay to get through) below level 8 that I can see. Nailed on we'll get Solihull anyway.

I think a few other connections exist. Gary Mills as manager with Darron Gee as assistant, and Mark Cooper too? Dale Belford managed them too.

A few forgettable players have left Notts for them too. Emmet Friars and Matty Williams being two.
We've never met in a competitive game, possibly in a friendly but I can't spot one.

It'll be one of the easiest trips for our traveling fans this season, being this side of Birmingham off the M42.
The season they got relegated out of the 5th tier, Luton were champions with Cambridge going up in the play offs.

Hope we put a strong team out. A cup run could galvanise our season (and finances).

It's a small squad this year, any team we put out would be considered 'strong' IMO.
Expect to see Knight (if fit), Sam and Vincent definitely starting though. Maybe Doyle......?

We would have met in a friendly this past summer, but Tamworth mysteriously cancelled it at the last minute without any public explanation. Maybe they had a premonition!
